In the background settings 'Audio Drop Zone' in Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 23, I am trying to tell Pinnacle Studio 'What Part' of a 3 minute song to play, so upon clicking on the 'Audio Drop Zone' to edit it as it suggests, I select in the waveform area that pops up, a 30 second area in the middle of the song, lets say 1.30 to 2.00 minutes and click OK. I am now creating beautiful Blu-Ray Disc in stunning quality and sound, and I can get DTS and AC3 5.1 and 7.1 on Blu-Ray. With Maliek tutorial I have been able to take my Studio 9 knowledge and his tutorials and bring my game up to Studio 18. His step by step, 'clear and clearly' showing you what to do at each step with clear indication of where you need to look or click. At first I thought he was just another jerk on YouTube pedaling the usual garbage tutorials. Then I came across Maliek, and his tutorials.

I was in a Goodwill Store and i happened to pick up and Sony Professional Blu-Ray recording unit, this is a desktop unit not a computer disc burning unit, I mean a full flange Blu-Ray recording unit, got it for $20 and it was in perfect condition.So now I into making Blu-Ray and have know ideal of the codec's or specification to do this, The unit connects a computer by a interface card (iir232) PCI card, but Pinnacle Studio Plus 9.43 really does not support Blu-Ray, it will allow you to edit and export the movie in 1080i, but not with AC3 or DTS, even with the 5.1 plugin (that only allow you to playback AC3), so i upgraded to Studio 18 Ultimate. All of the codec headaches of DTS, AC3, and strict Video file format. After years of creating VCD / DVD I said I would never do Blu-Ray as I did not want to learn all the encoding required to create Blu-Ray Disc. I have perfected my skills in DVD authoring using Pinnacle Studio AV/DV (Version 9.43) and DVDLabpro2. I have been doing VCD / DVD disc since Creative Video Blaster came out (later 1989).
